Three P's of Moving
Posted on 25 October, 2013 at 12:04 |
Gearing up for a Big Move? The three P’s I am referring to are, in short: paper, pearls and pills. Whether you will have a one or two day
cross-town move or a four to five day cross-country move, it will benefit you
to have control of items that are critical and vital to you and your
family.
Pearls: Whatever jewelry you may have of any value
should be kept with you at all times or securely stored in a safe or safety
deposit box. Moving time can be
confusing; don’t leave your valuables to chance.
Naturally, you can spend time post-move
searching boxes for these essential three P’s.
I suggest you save yourself the added stress. Make a list now and, when it’s time, start by
setting these items aside. You’ll be
happy that you did. Do you have a busy family with no time to waste? Visit All Right Moves to hire a team of NAPO professional organize who will unpack and organize your home in a matter of days. All Right Moves will help you move in so you can move on! |

I just did make a cross-country move and used another 'P' - purge. I found there were things that I just didn't need. I've been looking into professional organizing as a career and found your site when I searched for local organizers. I'd love to meet you at the Home Show and talk more about breaking into the business.

Thanks for your sharing that Stacie. Purging prior to a move can save time and money afterward - great tip! I hope we do get a chance to meet and chat at the Philly Home Show!

Thanks for your post on the vacation industry. I'd personally also like to add that if you are a senior thinking about traveling, it can be absolutely crucial to buy travel insurance for retirees. When traveling, older persons are at greatest risk of having a health emergency. Obtaining the right insurance package for the age group can protect your health and give you peace of mind.

Hahah, the three "P"s, I like how it sounds! That aside, the article is very useful - these are truly the essentials, the most valuable things in our life.

The three "P"s you mentioned to keep along with myself is excellent. Last time while I was moving to Kelowna, from Kamloops, I for the pill to keep with me. I have heart problem and need immediate medication when problem arise. And on that suddenly I feel pain on my heart and the medicines were not with me, so I got more pain on that while the Packrat Movers done a great job.
